Steve Rogers is a dry land rice farmer and Operations Manager for the Natural Rice Company based in Kyogle. He speaks to Sean O'Shannessy & reveals some of the ecological and economic advantages of dry land rice growing and dispels some furphies about the so called Australian "Rice Crisis"
Peter Holding is a third-generation farmer in south east NSW, growing crops such as canola and wheat, as well as running sheep for wool. Peter is also a member of the Climate Kelpie – a central location for farmers after practical information and tools with which to manage climate change risk and impacts. Wearing his hat as the Farm Outreach Officer for Farmers for Climate Action Peter speaks to Environmental as Anything about the Morrison government's Energy Roadmap, the National Farmers Federation's commitment to zero emissions by 2050 and the dirty politics of the koala killers besmirching the reputation of farmers.
