Jo Dodds is the President of the Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action. She is living on the NSW South Coast where this week dozens of schools had to be shut in the face of "catastrophic" fire conditions (in mid spring) . She spoke to Environmental as Anything about the feelings of her community in this stressful time and their calls for an pause on all fossil fool development until the federal environment laws have been made fit for purpose.
